Life is so… whatever.

Dumbledore is GAY!

with 7 comments

J.K.Rowling herself said so.

I don’t know about you, but I find this incredibly funny, haha. Sorry for my weird sense of humor. :P Especially the fact that he was in love with Grindelwald. Seriously? I think J.K.Rowling has been reading too much fan fiction, LOL.

I dunno. I’m not terribly shocked, although I wasn’t one of those who asserted that he is in fact gay. I just didn’t think Rowling would actually create a gay character. That’s for fan fiction to do eh, LOL. But, I guess I just am ok with whatever Dumbledore prefers. Kung san sya masaya, suportahan taka. Harhar.

  1. Hindi ko parin ma-accept na gay si Dumbledore. At lalong-lalo na IN LOVE siya kay Grindelwald. o_O

  2. Who decides which books get press (Gay-promoting Harry Potter) and which get censored? After all, censorship is becoming America’s favorite past-time. The US gov’t (and their corporate friends), already detain protesters, ban books like “America Deceived” from Amazon and Wikipedia, shut down Imus and fire 21-year tenured, BYU physics professor Steven Jones because he proved explosives, thermite in particular, took down the WTC buildings. Free Speech forever (especially for books).
Last link (before Google Books caves to pressure and drops the title):

Hahaha. Super weird kasi eh. So not her. Haha. Diba?

@Karl D: Karl…Dayot? Hmmm. Well, Harry Potter doesn’t promote homosexuality naman ah; we never even knew Dumbledore was gay until she said so recently. Pero in some places na-ban na ang Harry Potter diba?

  4. I can’t sleep yet so I decided to blog hop and post a comment I made in another blog about the same topic:

I don’t see how Dumbledore’s sexual orientation changes things. It doesn’t affect his characterization. It might have had Dumbledore confessed that he is gay in any of the 7 books and done something that was exclusive to homosexuals, but none of that happened.

For me, the fact that JK Rowling revealed Dumbledore’s homosexuality AFTER the publication of the 7 books shows that this detail is insignificant. It doesn’t matter if he’s gay as long as he’s got a good heart. :)

Or baka naghahanda siya para sa next books niya: “The Secret Life of Albus Dumbledore and the Other Prizoner of Azkaban” :D

  5. I knooooow. Kaya nga natatawa na lang ako eh, parang, “O so? Tapos naman na? Anong gagawin natin dito sa new info na to?” I don’t see either how revealing that Dumbledore is gay affects the story. Hmmm. Maybe she IS planning a new book. Oh yeah, I remember news around the time Deathly Hallows was released, sabi nya she’s going to write an encyclopedia. (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19935372/) Baka parang patikim lang to of what’s to come in that encyclopedia. If secrets revealed there would be as juicy and controversial as this, I bet that would sell more than the HP series itself haha.
